Mary Tyson
(1660 - 1742)
Niepoth questions the notion that she married Johann Lucken/ Jochim Huiskens who came to Germantown with the original settlers; he notes that she isn't referred to anywhere as one of the sisters of Reiner Tyson. No indication that Johann Lucken married more than once; he married first to Mercken. I t has been thought that Mercken was perhaps Mary. Only problem, it shows plainly inthe banns on 9/12/1679 Reformed Church in Krefeld that Johann Simes of Gladbach m Mercken Wilhelms of Gladbach. The wife is attensted in th e Rheyd power of attorney of 1683 that Merken Lucken is the daugher of the married couple Wilhelm Lucken and Adelheid Willems.
