At the request of John Muschett, the following deed was recorded on Oct 15, 1745.Sep 28, 1745 from Samuel Luckett of CC, planter, to John Muschett of CC, merchant, for 8 £ sterling, lot #28 in Charles Town. Said lot was taken up by Archibald Campbell & Ignatius Luckett, father of the said Samuel, and since his death, devolved to said Samuel. Signed - Samuel Luckett. Wit - Thomas Stone, William Middleton. Eliza., the wife of the said Samuel Luckett, released her dower.

Sep 12, 1751 from Samuel Luckett of CC, lnnholder, to Ignatius Luckett of CC, planter, for 30 £ sterling money of GB, 1 Negro man called James. If, however, Samuel Luckett pays Ignatius Luckett by next Nov 14 the above sum, then this mortgage shall be void. I, Samuel Luckett of CC, innholder, for the sums of 15 £ sterling and 2470.2 lbs of tobacco, which sums were recovered by Thomas Sanders of CC against me, sd Samuel Luckett, at a court held at Annapolis on Apr 16, 1753, which judgment was superseded by me, Charles Douglass, John Luckett, and Thomas Hussey Luckett Jr. I therefore sell to sd Charles Douglass, John Duckett, and Thomas Hussey Luckett, a Negro woman named Lucy.
