Death
Miss Barbara J. Furr, 20, R.R. 8, Lafayette, was killed when the auto she was driving went out of control, careened off a bridge, plunged down a 20-foot embankment and struck a tree about 11 a.m. yesterday. Tippecanoe County sheriff's deputies said two of the victim's brothers, Sandy L. Furr, 21, and Gerald A. Furr, 15, were hospitalized in Home Hospital at Lafayette. Both were passengers in her car. The accident occurred on a county road 3 miles southwest of Lafayette. Miss Furr died about 6 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy C.
