Death
Karen Doris Furr, 46, Route 2, Attica (Elmdale), dies at 9:46 p.m. July 4, 1991, in the emergency room at Community Hospital, Williamsport. She was born in Boswell, July 11, 1944, the daughter of Hirstle and Anna McDaniel Scrimager. She was married to Marvin Furr, December 7, 1963, in Attica. She was a resident of Attica since 1963, moving here from Crawfordsville. She was a graduate of New Market High School in 1962. She was employed by Purdue University for five yeas as head of the Linen Department at Windsor Halls. She had formerly worked at RMC in Attica and Central National Bank in Attica, having been secetary for Wade Harrison. She was a member of the Attica Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are: her mother, Route 2, Attica; a daughter, Lori Pearson, Route 2, Attica; two sons, Bruce Furr, Route 2, Attica, Brian Furr, Williamsport; two brothers, Ronald Scrimager, Wichita, Kansas, W.C. ‘Wimp' Scrimager, Route 2, Attica; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Furr. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Jean Coffman. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Byron Hunt officiating.
