Death

Margarette E. Woods, 45, of 2922 Mohawk Ave., died Thursday, Jan. 7. She was a native of The Plains, Va., and came to Fort Pierce from West Virginia eight years ago. Mrs. Woods was office manager for Russakis Grove Service. Survivors include her husband, James L. Woods of Fort Pierce; two sons, Mark W. Woods of Sebastian and Mathew W. Woods of Fort Pierce; two granddaughters; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Furr of Boyce, Va.; two brothers, Billy Furr Jr. and Bobby Furr of Virginia; a sister, Nancy Furr of Virginia; her maternal grandmother, Ida Mily of Virginia; and one uncle. The funeral will be Monday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home.
