Death

Sue Francis (Furr) Haynes, born March 6, 1940, to parents Odis "Bill" C. Furr and Helen Elizabeth Furr, passed from this life on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Sue is preceded in death by her mother, father, and one sister, the late Sharon Kay Furr. Sue was a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, OK. In her earlier years Sue ran Haynes Realty and later retired in her career at Kelco as a lab technician. Sue never met a stranger. By the time she said hello you knew that her children were her pride and joy and she told everyone about them everywhere that she went! Sue enjoyed shopping and eating dinner at restaurants along with her "Golden Girls" lifelong friends, Rosemary Stipandic and Treva Little, both of Okmulgee, OK. If not with her friends you would often find Sue with her bonus daughter, Angie Gurley "Driving Miss Sue" to her doctors appointments or daily shopping and dinner trips along with lots of laughs that will be forever memories. Sue truly enjoyed life with her family, taking trips around the U.S. with her mother and sisters, mother-daughter weekends with her daughter, and in earlier years taking short trips with her sisters and grandkids and nieces and nephews.
