Death
Mrs. Myrtie Ann Walker, 50, 5 Stroup street, Danville, Ill., died at 1:45 o'clock Tuesday afternoon Sept. 29th at St. Elizabeth hospital where she had been removed Monday. Death was due to complications following an operation. Mrs. Walker, widow of Raymond Walker, who preceded her in death 14 years ago, was a native of Fountain County, but for the past 27 years had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. P. D. Youngblood, 5 Stroup street, Danville, Ill. Surviving her besides the daughter with whom she resided are three brothers, Reid Furr, of Terre Haute, Nate Furr, of Yeddo, and Albert Furr, of Kingman, one sister, Fannie Gosset, of Steam Corner, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Christian Church with interment in Springhill Cemetery.The Covington Republican, Friday, October 9, 1931
