Death
Catherine M. Furr was born January 4, 1938 in London, England to Iva and Mary Ellis. She passed from this life March 3, 2005 in Oklahoma City, OK where she has lived for over 18 years. As a child she was a ballerina and continued to love dancing all her life. She was the wife of two U.S. Air Force soldiers and lived in many countries as well as numerous cities in the U.S. She was a person who loved people. She loved her girls and was very involved in their activities. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving relatives include two daughters, Tracy Brown and husband John Selfridge of OKC and Nikki Carter and husband Brian of OKC; one son, Kellee Brown and wife Tracie of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Maureen Waklin and husband Fred of London, England; four grandchildren, Ashlee Bastible, Jase Bastible, Riley Carter, and Tatum Brown; two step grandchildren, Ben Selfridge and Emily Selfridge; and two great grandchildren, Halee Richards and Kenzee Richards. Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M., in the Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home.The Oklahoman, March 6, 2005
