Joseph (Pete) Gouverneur Furr Sr., 83 of Rochelle in Madison Co. died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997 of a heart attack at Woodberry Forest School. Graveside services will be held today, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. in the Culpeper Masonic Cemetery with Masonic Rites conducted by the Fairfax Masonic Lodge #43 of Culpeper. The Rev. Scott Hennessy will officiate. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is in charge of the arrangements.Culpeper Star-Exponent, Culpeper, Virginia, January 20, 1997
