Newspaper probably Crawfordsville Journal Review but not in their on line index - hand dated 23 March 1965 - Hillsboro - Rowe Furr, 80, of Hillsboro, a retired farmer died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Tuesday evening. He was born Jan 27, 1884 near New Liberty to James R. and Louisa Drollinger Furr. He was married to Grace M. Livengood Dec 29, 1905 at the Wallace Lutheran Church. He was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church, the Wallace Masonic Lodge and Wallace Low 12 Club. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Hutchins of Danville, Ill; a son, Parvin L. Furr of Crawfordsville; four sisters, Mrs. Sibbie Palmore of Hammond; Mrs. FLorence Ratcliff of McAllen, Tx; Mrs. Maude Wood of Newtown and Mrs. Viola Mosbaugh of Arcadia; a brother, Paul Furr of Fresno, Calif; four grandchildren and one great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pauline. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.Endnotes
