Death

Sally Louise Furr Boydston Sally Louise Furr Boydston, age 66, of Bumpass went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Sally was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A graveside service was held Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Middleburg Baptist Church, where she was surrounded by family and friends. She was laid to rest near her parents and granddaughter. Sally was born January 30, 1945 in Ellicott City, Md. to Clarence and Sally Furr. She was a lifelong member of Middleburg Baptist Church, where she was baptized and married. She graduated from Loudon County High School in 1963. She made a career with the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and after retirement worked for Alexandria-Lake Ridge Pediatrics. Survivors include her husband, Robert Boydston of Bumpass; her daughter Sally and son-in-law Richard Ewing of Spotsylvania; four grand-children, Joshua, Matthew, Bobby, and Emily Ewing; and her sisters, Mary Payne of Warrenton, and Barbara Waugerman of Fredericksburg.
