MANSFIELD -- Connie M. Seacrist, 63, died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Born June 14, 1943, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Robert Castor and Marge (Cline) Fields. She was employed as a stockperson at Meijer. Mrs. Seacrist loved to crochet. She is survived by her husband, Larry Seacrist; five daughters, Connie (Greg) Yocham of Crestline, Barb Seacrist of Mansfield and Renea Seacrist (Dan Lendman), of Mansfield, Tina (Ronald) Furr of Galion and Karen (Cheyenne) Bolden of Marietta; two step daughters, Donna (Michael) Gibson of Alum Creek, W Va. and Betsy Davis of Findlay; son-in-law, Mark Gass; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce and Allen; sister, Sharon; step mother, Louise Castor of Bellville; and numerous nieces, ne- phews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Alex Wade; and grandparents, Vernon and Marie Castor. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 18, at 4 p.m. at Unity Freewill Church, 288 Pershing Ave., Galion, officiated by the Rev. Dave Bates. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family.
