Death

CRESTLINE: David "Larry" Seacrist , 83, of Crestline, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born September 26, 1929 in Montgomer, WV, he was the son of Albert and Kathleen (Ellison) Seacrist. Larry was an excellent mechanic who was always tinkering and taking things apart. He enjoyed watching westerns, especially with John Wayne, cooking, and collected miniature clocks. Larry loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and spoiled them every chance he got. He is survived by his children, Barb Seacrist of Crestline, Donna (Michael) Gibson of West Virginia, Betsy Davis, Renea Seacrist (Daniel Lendman) of Mansfield, Connie (Greg) Yocham of Crestline, Tina (Ron) Furr of Galion, and Karen (Cheyenne) Bolden of Newark; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Castor) Seacrist; nine brothers and sisters; and one infant great grandson. There will be no calling hours or services held. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of David "Larry" Seacrist.
