Death
Emma Jane Hitt, 63, of Warrenton, died June 14 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1943, in Marshall to the late Morris and Eunice Life Furr. Mrs. Hitt is survived by three daughters, Tina Green and Donna Lillard, both of Warrenton, and Christine Davis of Remington; two sons, Donnie and Jason Hitt, both of Warrenton; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Robert M. Furr of Marshall. Funeral services were held June 17 at Royston Funeral Home, Marshall, with interment at the Furr Family Cemetery near Marshall. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Royston Funeral Home Inc., PO Box 111, Marshall VA 20116, in memory of Mrs. Emma Hitt.Endnotes
