With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Furr, an exceptional man who left us on November 9, 2024. Born on May 20, 1936, Bob enriched the lives of all those who had the good fortune of knowing him. He was a man whose warm, caring, and funny personality made an impact on everyone he met. Bob is survived by his children, Robin Covey, Mary Covey, Robert Furr, and Joseph Furr, and his grandson, Robert Furr. His loss leaves a void in their lives that cannot be filled but they take solace in the countless memories of love and laughter shared through the years. Bob was an inspiring father and grandfather whose love and wisdom will forever echo in the hearts of his family. He was preceded in death by life partner Margaret Mason. An adept farmer, Bob possessed an innate knack for livestock management. He generously shared these skills, teaching invaluable lessons of farming and the importance of good work ethic to all those who took the time to learn. His legacy and teachings will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones and all those who learnt from him. In his memory, we remember not just a man, but a beacon of love and laughter whose life was a testament to the power of resilience, love, and good humor. We bid farewell to Bob with heavy hearts, but in the certainty that his life was a blessing to us all.
