Death
William John Furr, 63, of Bealeton, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born August 30, 1942 in Fauquier, to the late William and Elizabeth Furr. He is survived by four children, Johanna Jackson and her husband, Wayne of Gainesville, William Roy Furr "Billy" of Catlett, Christina Pratt and Crystal Gayle Furr, both of Madison; his siblings, Mary Martin and her husband, Louis of Catlett, Billy Furr and his wife, Anna of Amissville, Roy Furr and his wife, Connie of Amissville, Roger Furr and his wife, Bonnie of Warrenton, Betty Jean Wood and her husband, Bobby of Fredericksburg, and Ray Furr and his wife, Lisa of Oklahoma. Additional survivors include his grandchildren, John Vinson Bays, Cassandra Post, Bobby Bays, Gregory Pratt, Harley Pratt, and Michael Furr; two great grandchildren, Adam Michael Bays and Alexander Nicholas Post; and one baby boy on the way. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Ann Furr and Linda Marshall, and two brothers, Lonnie Furr and Harrison J. Furr. Pallbearers will be Roy Furr, Roger Furr, Billy Furr, Everett Longhorn, Kenny Kipps, Wayne Martin, Bill Makely, Steve Dodson. William Furr and his wife, Beulah Mae Furr, had a loving and devoted marriage for twenty five years. They will be missed dearly by their family and friends. Mom and Dad were dedicated to the love of their families and children. Life to both of them was shared as one with the love to keep our families happy. Whether they were shopping or camping it was done in fun and in love together. We will miss you dearly and your hearts will join with mind as one.
