Death

Lafayette - Patsy "Pat" Furr, 81, of Mulberry, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born on June 10, 1937 in Fountain County to the late Lloyd W. and Opal L. (Beeth) Clapp. Pat graduated from Richland Township High School in 1955. On May 25, 1956, she married Wayne Furr in Mellot, IN and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2006. Pat worked as a home healthcare aide before retiring. She had previously worked for Home Hospital, RMC, and Aca Y Alla Skating Rink. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Pat enjoyed walking and riding her bike and she loved to help others and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters, Linda (Curtis) Bohs of West Lafayette, Sheila Spence of Lafayette, Connie Wagner of Lafayette, Brenda Payne of Hillsboro, IN, and Joanie Asari of NC. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Rob Perkins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. A Committal Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens with Pastor Bill Murdock officiating.
