MARY ELLEN FURR 1937-2016, age 79, passed away September 22, 2016. She was the wife of Doyle and mother of Julie (Ed) Hingelberg and Steve (Tena) Furr. Grandmother of Rachael (Sean) Cooper, Stephen Furr, and Eric (Leslie) Ferraiuolo. Great-grandmother of Zanon Cooper. Sister of Barbara Walker. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for their caring and compassionate assistance. Any memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan and would be greatly appreciated. Per Mary Ellen's wishes, a private memorial will be taking place.Published in the Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News and other local publications on Sept. 23, 2016
