Marriage
Miss Margaret Ann Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Kelley of Alexandria, became the bride April 19 of Mr. Roger Lee Furr. He is the son of Mrs. James Thomas Bray and Mr. Monte Furr, both of Alexandria. The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael McDermott officiating. The reception took place at the George Mason Hotel. Following a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, Mr. Furr and Mrs. Furr will reside in Alexandria.Death
On Friday, November 26, 2004, Roger Lee Furr, passed away. He was a lifelong resident of Alexandria, VA and an active member of St. Rita's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret "Margo" Furr. He is survived by his daughter, Terri Sprinkle; his sons, Roger L. Furr, Jr., Mark J. Furr and Kevin M. Furr. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Lucetta, Jason, Sabrina, Raymond, Amanda, Melissa and Brian Furr. Friends may call at Everly-Wheatley Fiuneral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 2, 2004, 11 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 3815 Russell Rd., Alexandria, VA.
