Marriage

Miss Margaret Ann Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Kelley of Alexandria, became the bride April 19 of Mr. Roger Lee Furr. He is the son of Mrs. James Thomas Bray and Mr. Monte Furr, both of Alexandria. The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael McDermott officiating. The reception took place at the George Mason Hotel. Following a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, Mr. Furr and Mrs. Furr will reside in Alexandria.

Death

On September 22, 2004, Margart K. Furr, passed away. She was a life-long resident of Alexandria, VA and an active member of St. Rita's Catholic Church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Roger L. Furr; loving daughter, Terri Sprinkle and sons, Roger L. Furr, Jr., Mark J. Furr and Kevin M. Furr. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Lucetta Furr, Jason Furr, Sabrina Furr, Raymond Furr, Amanda Furr, Melissa Furr and Brian Furr; as well as brothers, John J. Kelley and Thomas E. Kelley. Friends may call at Everyl-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA on Sunday, September 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27, 10 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 3815 Russell Rd., Alexandria, VA. Interment to follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
