Death

Joanne Jean O'Quinn, 56, of Woodbridge died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Potomac Hospital from complications of scleroderma after a long illness. She had retired from Verizon as a service technician. Survivors include her husband, John H. O'Quinn of Woodbridge; a son, John H. O'Quinn Jr. and his wife, Theresa, of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Rebecca E. Hedrick and her fiance, Charles Kirk Winstead, of Woodbridge; her father, Harvey N. Furr Sr. of Front Royal; two brothers, Harvey N. Furr Jr. of Woodbridge and David L. Furr of Nokesville; a sister, Christine E. Crittenden of Springfield; and a grandson, John H. "Trey" O'Quinn. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in White Oak Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Trey O'Quinn, H. David Furr, Darrell Furr, Dominic Furr, Jamie Hinkle and John H.
