Death
Sarah Elizabeth Furr, 68, of Leesburg, who worked at F&M Bank in Hamilton for 10 years and was a member of the Leesburg Church of the Nazarene, died April 30 in Loudoun Hospital Center at Lansdowne. Services will take place Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home of Purcellville. Burial will follow in Leeds Cemetery in Hume She was born Feb. 27, 1936, in Roanoke to the late Robert and Sarah Boxley. Mrs. Furr volunteered at the Loudoun Senior Center, Ida Lee Park and Recreation Center and Balls Bluff Elementary School, and with MOPS at the Leesburg Church of the Nazarene. She was married to the late Robert Ray Furr. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon L. Emerson of Leesburg, and Sally A. Furr of Winchester; two brothers, including William Boxley of Purcellville; and three grandchildren.
