VEEDERSBURG — Wreatha L. Furr, 79, a resident of Veedersburg, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000 in Lane House Healthcare Center, Crawfordsville. She was born Oct. 9, 1920 in Veedersburg, the daughter of Harry L. and Eva McKinsey Hicks. She married Lawrence R. Furr Jan. 25, 1942 in Veedersburg. He survives. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Survivors include: a son, Larry Furr, Hayes, Va. and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister and a step sister. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.
