Death

Maudie Ryan Furr, 91, of Middleburg died Friday at Rose Hill Nursing Home in Berryville. The funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at Middleburg Baptist Church by the Rev Dr. Bill Thigpen. Burial will be in Middleburg Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was a homemaker and member of the Middleburg Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Thomas Furr. Surviving are a daughter, Jane Furr of Middleburg; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middleburg Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Royston Funeral Home in Middleburg.
