Death
The body of John Furr, a former resident of this county, was brought to Shelbyville from near Indianapolis Friday morning and taken to Strasburg, where the funeral was held from the Methodist Church at ten o'clock, with burial in the Strasburg cemetery. Mr. Furr is survived by four brothers and three sisters, Frank Furr, Omer Furr, Fred Furr and Miss Daisy Furr, who reside on the old homestead near Indianapolis; William Furr of near Shelbyville, Mrs. Lucia Beeman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Clara Malson of Lebanon, Ind.Journal Gazette, Mattoon, Illinois, May 3, 1919
