Death

Evelyn Cavan was taken home by God after suffering a heart attack on September 14th 2014. She was a loving, caring, hardworking wonder of God. She was best known to many as Grandma "Sam" a nickname from her school days. Evelyn was born to Glen and Elizabeth Furr. She was married and divorced with two daughters Stacy Cavan (David Mishler) and Sylvia Grauman (Vern Wright); and son Paul Cavan and wife Ginny. She has 9 grandchildren Ashley, Steven and Christopher Cavan, Elizabeth Cole (Kris), Marissia McIntosh (Kyle), Cody Mishler, Sierria Mishler, Misty Wright and Austin Wright; 5 great grandchildren Evelyn, George Cole, David, Eva Marie and Jonathan Paul McIntosh. Sam's family members reside in Kentucky and Washington. Evelyn has lived in Loveland with her sister, Mary Wilkerson since 1993. She had originally returned to Loveland to help out in caring for her elderly mother Elizabeth. She also enjoyed looking after Arron and Jennifer Wilkerson's two sons, Wyatt and Dalton. They filled the void created by her own grandchildren living so far away. Evelyn leaves behind three sisters, Mary Wilkerson, Henrietta Bunte of Loveland CO, and Alberta Winslow (Jack) of Florence CO, and a brother Al Furr (Lee) of Lodi CA. She had many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly as well. Cremation has been completed upon her request. Services will be held at a later date for family and friends.
