ORANGE PARK, Fla. - June Annie Furr, 77, of 2145 Kinsley Ave., and formerly of Hagerstown, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at Orange Park Medical Center, Orange Park. Born June 6, 1921, in Fairmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Martin Dent. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William David McVaney; and by her second husband, Wesley R. Furr. She was employed by Defense Electronics Inc., of Alexandria, Va., retiring in 1986. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Okey H. McVaney of Middleburg, Fla.; two stepsons, Warren L. Furr of Jacksonville, Fla., and Wesley Furr of Maryland; one sister, Georgia Lane of Canton, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, William Elton McVaney; and her companion, Kenneth R. Albaugh. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown. The Rev. James C. Brinkley will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
