Death

K Rymer Furr, age 84, of Clemmons passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel at 12PM Saturday, February 8, 2020, officiated by Pastor Curtis Edward Patterson. The family will see family and friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home. He was born November 10, 1935 in Gilmer County, West Virginia to Lloyd Rymer Furr and Ilene Hinkle Furr. He was retired from Dominion Energy. After retirement, he loved to hunt and fish. His parents and his daughter, Amy Lou Kasperski all preceded him in death. He was a resident of North Carolina since 2007 but he was a true West Virginia Mountaineer. Surviving are his loving wife, Pamula Hamrick Furr of the home, his daughters, Lisa Fairbanks (John) of Winston Salem and Terry Beth Morse of West Virginia. A son, Jeffrey Lee Furr (Amanda) of Florida; daughter-in-law, Debbie Furr; grandchildren: Hunter, Lawson (Brenna), Alison, Tyler, Bradley (Sammie), Mandy (Mike), Megan, Madison and Mackenzie.
