DEATH OF: PAULINE HUTCHISON BODMER DAILEY
Mrs. Pauline Bodmer Dailey, 89, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, died Monday, December 12, 1994, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, Jefferson County, West Virginia.
She was the wife of the late Mr. Jesse Sylvester Dailey, Sr. Pauline was born July 5, 1905, at Historic Stone House at Manassas Battlefield at Manassas, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Effie Mae Hutchison Bodmer.
Mrs. Dailey had been a retired Federal Government employee, and along with her husband owned and operated the Jesse S. Dailey Funeral Home at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and Brunswick, Maryland.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church at Harpers Ferry, Harpers Ferry Women's Club, Ladies Auxiliary of the Friendship Fire Company, and AARP.
She is survived by one son, J. Thomas Dailey of Harpers Ferry; two half-sisters, Aurelia B. Bell and Yona B. Brady of Leesburg, VA; one half-brother, Gelston Bodmer of Leesburg, VA; one granddaughter, Diane Dailey McDonough of Ranson; three grandsons, James Robert Dailey of Martinsburg, WV; Jay Thomas Dailey, and Keith Thomas Dailey, both of Harpers Ferry, WV; and three nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Jesse S. Dailey, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 1994. Funeral services will be held from the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Vincent Campi will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harpers Ferry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Fire Company, P.O. Box 126, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.
