Death
Miss Emma Furr, 80, of Oneida, died in St. Mary's Hospital in Galesburg Wednesday at 5:40 a.m. Miss Furr was born May 19, 1896, in Bedford, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Nora Furr. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lennie Irwin of Macomb, and several nieces and nephews. A member of the Oneida United Methodist Church, Miss Furr lived in the Galesburg, Oneida and Altona communities most of her life. Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Hendricks Funeral Home with Rev. Francis Dykstra of the Oneida United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral tonight. Burial will be in the Oneida Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Oneida United Methodist, the family said.Galesburg Register Mail, Galesburg, Ilinois, May 12, 1977
