Death
George Earl Mott, 68, of Memphis, retired mechanic, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at his home after a four-month illness. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. He was a member of East Frayser Church of Christ. He leaves his wife, Dorothy Mott; four daughters, Mrs. Ramona Arscott of Delaware, Mrs. Freida Furr of Virginia, Mrs. Dale Bowman of Oakland, Tenn., and Mrs. Debbie Barthalow of Bartlett; ason, Jimmy Steward of West Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Freida Hopson of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Mary Knebel of Maryland and Mrs. Esther Voss of New York; a brother, Orrin Mott of New York, and 11 grandchildren.The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, April 28, 1989
