Death
Mrs. Lydia Pence Tysinger, wife of Robert Tysinger, died Sunday at her home near Readus, four miles west of here after a long illness of kidney trouble and heart disease, the after effects of influenza. Mrs. Tysinger was a daughter of the late Harry Pence of this county and was in the sixty-fourth year of her age. She had been a faithful member of the Methodist Church for many years. Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Lantz, of Lantz Mills; Mrs. Edward S. Clark, Woodstock; Mrs. Earl Foltz of St. Luke; and Mrs. W. C. Furr of Washington, D.C. She is survived also by one sister, Mrs. W. L. Vehrencamp, of Bowmans; three brothers, Romanus Pence, of Washington, D.C.; Erasmus Pence and Jacob Pence, of Bowmans. Funeral services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. Sydenstricker, of Union Forge, Tuesday morning at ten o'clock.Endnotes
