BURLINGTON, N.C. — Mrs. Sara Winn (Murr) Furr, 58, of 909 Central Ave., died Friday (March 16, 1990) at her residence. She was born in Alamance County, a daughter of Faggart Daniel and Ruby Louise (Winn) Murr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Edwin Furr. In addition to her mother, survivors include one daughter, Sara Marcella Furr of Winterville; a son T/Sgt. Johnny Edwin Furr II, stationed in Japan; two sisters, Ruth Webster and Dorris Ellen Walker, both of Burlington; two brothers, F. Daniel Murr Jr. of Burlington and Thomas Murr of Graham; and three grandchildren. A service will be conducted 10 a.m. today at Hocutt Memorial Baptist in Burlington. Burial will be at 3 p.m. today in Augusta Memorial Park in Fishersville, Va.Endnotes
