Death
Wayne A. Furr, 74, of North Patchogue, died on August 6. Mr. Furr was a proud U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, retired Long Island Railroad Conductor, member of American Legion Post 417 (Setauket, NY), and dedicated Volunteer at the Long Island State Veteran’s Home in Stony Brook, NY. Mr. Furr was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol. Mr. Furr is survived by his son, Joseph Genovese and wife, Carol; loving daughter Tracey Devine, grandchild Sean Randall, and by great grandchildren, Scarlett and Violett Randall. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Robertaccio Funeral Home in Patchogue. A private cremation at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery & Crematory followed with interment at Calverton National Cemetery.Endnotes
