Death

Mrs. Janie Furr, 72, of 806 E. Belmont St., died Sunday morning at Sacred Heart Hospital. Mrs. Furr has been a resident of Pensacola for the past 15 years. She was the wife of the late George R. Furr, Spanish War Veteran who died a few years ago. No known relatives survive. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Fisher-Pou Chapel with the Rev. Don Marietta of the First Methodist Church officiating. Pallbearers who are veterans of the Spanish American War, will be Allen T. Early, Thomas J. Adams, Chris Austin, Louis R. Dorris, E. A. Guillott, O. A. Bailey, Albert J. Anderson and John H. Pine, Burial will be in the National Cemetery.
