ATTICA - Emily Coffing, 79, died Dec. 12, 1989, in Punta Gorda, FL. Born at Alton, IL, on Jan 30, 1910, she formerly lived in Williamsport, and had been living in Florida for the past ten years. She was married in September 1933 in Danville, IL, to Ordin Coffing, who died in 1973. Mrs. Coffing graduated from high school in Illinois and attended Utterback Business College in Danville, IL. She was a bookkeeper before retiring. She was a member of Attica/Williamsport Presbyterian Church and Rocky Dale Chapter of Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are two sons, Ron Coffing of rural Waynestown and Terry Coffing of Attica; a sister, Susie Baldwin of Sidell, IL; one grandchild and 13 great-grandchildren.Journal & Courier, Lafayette, Indiana, December 31, 1989
