Geraldine H. Furr, age 80, of Douglasville, passed away January 26, 2014. She was born March 15, 1933 in Oswego, NY to the late Edward Lagoe and Helen Ferens Lagoe. Survivors are her husband, James P. Furr, Jr., of Douglasville; children and their spouses: Karen L. and Wesley Stephens of Oak Ridge, TN, James P. III & Susan Furr, of Lithia Springs, Timothy J. Sr. and Debra Furr, of Lithia Springs, Thomas E. & Michele Furr of Powder Springs, Tamala A. & Robert Teal of Douglasville, Julieanne M. & Glen Pierce of Powder Springs; brother: Richard Lagoe of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren: Jamey, Woody, Tiffany, Michael, Skylar, Timmy, Daniel, Joseph, Ryan, Eric, Joshua, Kara and Eliza and four great grandchildren. No services are planned at this time. In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated.
