William B. Furr, age 71, a resident of Strasburg passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his residence. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, November 14, 2011 at Valley Assembly of God in Middletown with Pastor William H. Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal, VA. Pallbearers will be Stephen Rudolph, Davey Shepherd, Morgan Shepherd, Jordon Shepherd, Vernon Mathews and Dave Shepherd. Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601 or Middletown Fire & Rescue, P.O. Box 111, Middletown, VA 22645.
