SHELBYVILLE - Monte Marie Hart, 68, of Shelbyville died 10:30 a.m. Friday (Dec. 22, 2000) in her home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with the Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials: Rush Heart Institute in Chicago. Mrs. Hart was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Shelby County, the daughter of Glenn and Alma Small Furr. She was affiliated with Shelby Christian Church in Shelbyville and was formerly employed at Johnston's IGA, retiring in 1996. She married James Hart Oct. 28, 1954. Surviving are her husband; daughter, Bobbie Hilligoss and husband Floyd of Windsor; son, Michael Hart and daughter Marla Shoaff and her husband Don, all of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; brother, Bill Furr of Bethany; sister, Betty Perry of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her parents.Endnotes
