Death

Rosemary "Rose" Furr passed away on July 2, 2014 at Poudre Valley Hospital, after losing her battle with Leukemia. She was surrounded by her loving children and was no longer in pain. Rose was born on August 2, 1955 in New Kensington, PA to Frank and Mary Muka. She worked at Poudre Valley Hospital for 30+ years and loved her job and everyone she worked with. Rose always put a smile on everyone's face and always put her loved ones needs above her own. Regardless of her illnesses throughout the years, she never missed a day of work, until she was diagnosed in December of 2013. Rose loved to collect pig memorabilia and loved spending time with her little dog Shy. Rose is survived by her two loving children, Ashley (26) and Zachary (24) Furr; her sister Helen Semego and her husband Dave Semego; her brother Richard Muka and his wife Nancy Muka and their son Andy Muka; her brother Alan Muka; her grandchildren (From Zach) Ben and Jared Furr. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Muka, her nephew Ricky Muka and her granddaughter Ariana. Funeral services, Friday, July 11, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at Viegut Funeral Home. The family asks that purple be worn in honor of Rose. Cremation will be completed following services. Inurnment will take place on Monday, July 14, 2014, 3:00 PM at Loveland Burial Park.
