Death
Elizabeth Furr was born in 1823 and died at her home in Forrest, Ill., January 16th, 1892, aged 69 years and 4 days. She was married to Jeremiah Smith, October 5th, 1843, and was the mother of nine children, six of whom survive her. Funeral services were conducted at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Thos. Gray, by Rev. J. E. Mercer, Sabbath afternoon at 1 o'clock, and the interment took place in the Forrest cemetery. The relatives desire to return their heartfelt thanks to those who kindly assisted and sympathized with them in their sad bereavement.Endnotes
