David KNICKERBOCKER {K-150}

(Abt 1780 - Sep 1838)

Events

BirthAbt 1780No doubt about David's lineage. David was called "son" in a deed from his father Lawrence. However, we don't know if his mother was Mary or Deborah.
Knick Lineage17801. HJ / 2. Lourens / 3. Harmanus / 4. Lawrence / 5. David (this person)
Knick Generation Number17805
Extra information1781There is only proof of one David: Land records show that Lawrence sold land to "my son" David. Aside from David (and his son David Jr), there is no evidence to support another senior David in Ontario Co. (Harmonus' pension file names his 7 kids; no David.)
Extra information1781David called "father" in death cert of Aaron. Aaron linked to Hebron by a deed. George raised Hebron's children. Disconnect: Aaron's death cert says his mother was Jane. I suspect Benjamin was the actual father of Aaron, Hebron, and George.
