Malvina "Malwisia" Turkel

(26 Feb 1910 - 29 Oct 2001)

mail of WCT 11/12/1998:

Just before Malvina and Frieda left to join Hillel & Henry in USA, George took Malvina on a "memory" tour by train of Austrian resorts and mountains. One place they visited was "Bad am Sea."

In Cleveland Malvina worked as a secretary but then she moved to California and got a job with Macy's. Malvina was always a stylish and fashionable dresser and she made her own clothes. She could produce her own patterns just by studying a dress she admired.
