EL CAMPO — Josephine "Jo" Heflin, 81, of El Campo, died Tuesday Oct. 12, 1999.
She was born July 28, 1918, in Humble, to the late Joe and Jessie Santoro Frenchmeyer. She was a homemaker.
Survivors: daughters, Jessie Fritsch of Ellinger, Nancy Christensen of Houston, Charlotte Hansen of El Campo, Debbie Smith of Alvin and Jenny Orsak of Smithville; stepdaughter, Audrey Philpot of Kingwood; stepson, Wayne Heflin of Porter; brother, Tony Frenchmeyer of Cleveland: 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, Andrew Heflin; brothers, Joe Frenchmeyer, Charlie Frenchmeyer, Jimmy Frenchmeyer and Bill Frenchmeyer; stepson. Bobby Heflin; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at Triska Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, the Rev. Richard Dubroc officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in El Campo Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, (409) 543-3681.
