Katherine N. Papagiannakos

(5 Feb 1904 - 21 Feb 1978)

Source: Nicholas J. Pappas Family Group Sheet & letter dated Feb. 10 , 1996 in possession of Carol Petranek.
Information from Nicholas J. Pappas letter dated March 5, 1996:
"Catherine Pappas married Alex Christie, probably at St. Constantine & Helens Church in Brooklyn. They had one son, Peter Christie, who currently lives in or near Garden City, Long Island. (I will try to get an address). Alex died 60 years ago? Catherine and Peter moved in with my family in Brooklyn. Some years later she met Nick Economopoulos, his wife had died, leaving him with two sons (Jim & Alex). The union of Nick and Catherine produced a daughter, Irene. Irene lives in New Jersey with her husband and children (I will try to get full name and address)."

Dates from letter from Irene Panagakos dated April 14, 1996.

Bertha Pappas Pouletsos said she always referred to Bertha's father as "theo" (uncle).
Her father's name was Nikolaoss and her grandfather was Panagiotis.

-- MERGED NOTE ------------

I have put Aikaterina with this family, as it is the most logical given her birth year about 1902. Her 1914 passenger ship manifest said her nearest relative was her father, Panagiotis, in Agios Ioannis
