REVELOS, Charles James died of complications from Parkinson's disease, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born January 24, 1933 in Middletown, Ohio the son of James Revelos and Angela (Delitsos) Revelos. Mr. Revelos was a 1951 graduate of Middletown High School. He then graduated from Ohio State University in 1956 and was a member of Beta Theta Pi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. Mr. Revelos sang on the Ed Sullivan Show with his Army quartet, the Four Fifths. They took home the trophy as first place winners of the All Army Show. He was a member of the Vestry at The Episcopal Church of The Ascension where he also sang in the choir. Mr. Revelos was a partner in Elite Ice Cream and Candy Inc. He loved good music, especially Jazz and the classics. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janice Roof Revelos; two sons, William (Laura) of Healdsburg, CA, Jonathan (Clarice) of Dallas, GA; one daughter, Lydia Revelos of Healdsburg, CA; three grandsons, Nicholas, Charlie and Joe; two sisters, Mary Lou McCormick (Don) of Middletown, Martha Lininger of Avoca, NY; a special cousin and business partner, George C. Revelos; sister- and brother-in-law, Becky and Jim Gaebe of Chicago; two nephews; four nieces; and many loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Revelos; a brother, George J. Revelos; and a niece, Deborah McCormick. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 15 at The Episcopal Church of The Ascension, 2709 McGee Avenue, Middletown, OH 45044. A reception will follow in the Little Hall. Child care is available during the service. Memorial donations may be sent to The Episcopal Church of The Ascension, 2709 McGee Avenue, Middletown, OH 45044 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are by the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home.
