George James Revelos, 83, of Middletown, died Monday, September 4, 2006, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown, on December 25, 1922 to parents James and Angela (Belitsos) Revelos. 

George was the co-owner of Elites Ice Cream & Candies for 40 years, retiring in 1987. Following his retirement, he worked for Esther Price for 15 years. He served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and was a member of the American Legion Post 218. He was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, where he served on church council and AHEPA and was a member of Rotary. 

Mr. Revelos is survived by his wife of 51 years, Virginia (Katsanis) Revelos; his daughters, Angela (Jon) Mount of Strongsville and Tina (Steve) Rucker of Terrace Park; son, James G. (Lynne) Revelos of Troy; sisters, Mary Lou (Don) McCormick of Middletown and Martha Lininger of Avoca, NY; brother, Charles (Janice) Revelos of Middletown; and 5 grandchildren, George Mount, Amelia Mount, Andrew Revelos, Alex Revelos, and Christina Revelos.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Revelos.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 8, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Grand Ave., with Reverend Dr. Christos Christakis officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Trisagion Prayer Service at 6:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216-3549 or Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Grand Ave., Middletown, OH 45044.

George James Revelos, 83, of Middletown, died Monday, September 4, 2006, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown, on December 25, 1922 to parents James and Angela (Belitsos) Revelos.
