The petition of James Economopoulos
First. My place of residence is 1782 Shore Road
Second. My occupation is lunchman.
Third. I was born on 29 day of September 1884 at Sparta, Greece
Fourth. I emigrated to the US from Havre, France on or about the 20 [or 23] day of April 1901, and arrived in US at the port of NY on 2 May 1901 on a vessel name forgotten.
Fifth. I declared my intention to become a citizen of the US on 8 day of January 1912 in the U.S. District Court of Eastern District of NY.
Sixth. I am married. My wife's name is Despina. She was born in Sparta Greece and now resides at 1782 Shore Road. I have no children.
Seventh. ...renounce allegiance to Constantine, King of the Hellenes.
Eighth. I am able to speak the English language.
Ninth. I have resided continuously in the US for the term of five years... since the 2 day of May 1901, and in the state of NY...since the 2 day of May 1901.
Tenth. I have not heretofore made petition for citizenship to any court.
