Obituary
George H. Sleuman was born on December 28, 1851, in Salem, Massachusetts. He died in Huntington Park, California, on November 27, 1935, after a week's illness. Burial was at Sunnyside Mausoleum in Long Beach, California.Mr. Sleuman came to Missouri at the age of 18 years and homesteaded in Nebraska nearm Trumbull in 1873. He was married to Laura Belle Walker in 1888.
The family moved to Hastings in 1903. Since 1920 they have lived in California. Mrs. Sleuman died in 1928. Surviving children are: Mrs. Mary Adams, Norfolk, Nebraska; Mrs. Laura B. Gooding, Lincoln, Nebraska; Mrs. Irene White, Petersburg, Alaska; Walker Sleuman, El Segundo, California; and Vernon Sleuman, Upland, California.
