Marriage
Source (1) gives date as about 1770 in Morgan County WV. (Morgan County was established from parts of Berkeley and Hampshire Counties in 1820)This is problematical since her father, Christopher WEAVER RIN169, did
not purchase the Sleepy Creek land until 1779. Too, the area at that
time was in Berkeley County, Va. Also, her husband acquired his first tract of land - 320 acres about 1.75 miles from the Potomac River from Thomas Lord Fairfax 3 MAY 1781. However, first child, John, was born about 1772 in Berkeley County making the marriage date plausible.
